Telehealth Consultations

Mr Booth offers a telehealth (phone or video) consultation to reduce the need for patients to attend ‘in person’ clinic appointments.

Telehealth is available to all patients, including current patients and new patients.

Our hope is that this strategy will reduce patient exposure to coronavirus (Covid-19).

This is particularly important for older and more vulnerable patients, and any patients in isolation or quarantine.

Appointments can be made by calling the rooms
(03) 9897 4922 during business hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Fridays: 9:00am – 3:00pm

For telehealth appointments, Mr Booth will call you at your scheduled appointment time to discuss your situation.

He will discuss your symptoms and review any available radiology tests (we have online access to most of the X-rays and scans) to make a plan with you.

This may involve a further video appointment, investigations, referral to another health professional or a face-to-face appointment with Mr Booth.

You will still require a referral from your GP before this call however you will not be charged any out of pocket fees for this service.

If an in-person appointment is necessary, we have strategies in place to reduce your risk of being exposed to Covid-19.

These include:

  • Staggered appointment times to reduce waiting times and separate waiting rooms to reduce your contact with other patients.
  • Hand sanitizer will be supplied on arrival.
  • If you are unwell with any symptoms suggestive of coronavirus such as: a runny nose, cough, shortness of breath or fever please call us and do not attend the clinic.
